Some Changes

A few changes are coming to Blue Light Hypnotherapy, and I'm having to tighten up on a few things.

Firstly, my website has had a bit of a revamp. It was looking a bit gloomy with just the swirling blue lights on every page, so I've tried to vary it and lighten it up a bit. I'll never be an expert at this stuff, but bearing in mind it's all done by someone who hasn't got a clue about technology, I hope you like it.

Secondly, regular followers will know that I've been in hospital a lot this year following a nasty spinal injury. I haven't had any income in any of this time. So I can't afford the cost of last-minute cancellations. It's not just the room hire that costs me; it's the loss of income from other sources. If I have just one client, I will keep the whole day free. That costs me quite a bit anyway. If that one client cancels, I lose that income, I lose the room hire fee, and I lose what I could have earned elsewhere. My work in urgent care services pays a lot more than my therapy work, especially when I only have one client on some days.

I have a cancellation policy in place for that reason. It's not pleasant to have to enforce it, but I do have to. Please familiarise yourself with this policy prior to agreeing a course of therapy.

I am also working on a new payment policy whereby I may have to either take a 50% deposit, or request payment in full 48 hours before the session. It is regrettable that I have to do this, but I have just had too many cancellations and I cannot keep covering the costs. I will post again as and when this policy is in place.

If you would like to come and see me for some hypnotherapy, please remember that we will be embarking on a course of therapy together. If you're unsure if you can commit to the whole course, then it's probably best not to. Come back when you're ready to commit. It would be easy for me to charge you for a few sessions, and then again later when you're ready to commit, but it wouldn't be fair. Plus it wouldn't be helpful to you. I want hypnotherapy to be useful for you, and I want to help you make positive changes to your life.

Finally. Given my drastically reduced income this year, I am going to have to end the discount I have been giving to staff of the London Ambulance Service. Since I have been operating I have been giving substantial discounts to LAS staff, but sadly I can no longer afford to do this.

From 1 January 2022 this discount will no longer be in place, so if you're ready to make some positive changes to your life, book early! If any LAS staff book a course of therapy before 1st December 2021, I will honour the discount up until the end of the course. So you have almost a month to book up!

Not the cheeriest of posts I know, but unfortunately it was necessary to say. I hope to be able to provide LAS discounts again in the future, and I will post again if I am able to do that. I appreciate you are not the best paid bunch of people in the country. However you're doing better than I am right now.

Have a happy and safe November, and don't set fire to your gardens or yourselves tonight....!

Hi folks I know I put this on the Facebook/Twitter pages already, but just in case you haven't seen: Up until 31st May 2022 I am offering a substantial discount for all staff employed by London Ambula

I have finally been learning to listen to the advice and guidance I give to others. When it all gets too much, walk away. Another job I used to do, for too many hours a week, got too much. I’ve walked

Blue Light Hypnotherapy is currently closed to new clients for a very short period of time. Everyone needs some time sometimes. That includes therapists. We're not all superhuman, unfortunately. Every
